This week we have a major astrological happening with the New moon solar eclipse in Gemini on Thursday. If last month's lunar eclipse ended cycles then this one will usher in new ones and quickly! The planet of action and passion Mars enters Leo the day after. Romance, children, and DRAMA are on the menu hun-ties. Last week we had two major astrological events, Mercury in retrograde in Gemini and a full moon eclipse in Sagittarius. The theme of this Mercury retrograde is definitely concerning a way of thinking, a train of thought and processing the ending of a cycle or an era. You might be nostalgic, one minute just daydreaming about the past and next minute in a full blown epiphany. Of course normal Mercury shenanigans apply; delays, do overs, miscommunication and small glitches but overall the energy is reflection. Venus enters Cancer on Wednesday giving us a real desire to connect with "home"; our physical home, the home within and the home found within others. This might be clearer to you really soon and you might be surprised to find a take on what it means to you.

Gemini - This week Venus spends the last remaining days in your sign. Take advantage and spoil yourself in the next few days with a bit of pampering and a new lewk for summer. With Mercury backtracking all up and through your first house, you might find your thoughts drifting back to things, people and places from near or long ago. By all means, take those memories out and examine them for what they are, but don't get lost in the past. Welcome to retrograde season! Retrogrades give us a chance to go back and evaluate past decisions, events and test things for durability. Right now, Pluto is in retrograde bringing major transformational energy and Saturn has started spinning backwards to review the things we've learned since last summer. Mercury will join them in Gemini in a couple of days so expect returning themes in communication, love and promises made (kept or not). We also will be having a full moon Lunar eclipse on May 26 ending a big karmic cycle and starting a new one!

Gemini - HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEMS! You are the star this week with so much energy in your first house of identity. You have the Sun (self), Mercury (communication) and Venus (love and abundance) doing a line dance to bring you your heart's desire and gift you with a special sparkle that everyone can see! With Mercury going retro in your house of identity and an eclipse opposite your sign this week, take time to think about what your personal new year will mean for you.  I missed you and I am so glad to be back giving you weekly horoscopes now by SIGN just in time enough for retrograde season! Speaking of retrograde, we have a Mercury retrograde coming May 29th but don't worry, we're in it together. 

General energy for May 9 - 15 2021

Transformation and heady things are afoot. Pluto is retrograde now as it is for almost half the year and most of us won't be feeling this acutely but the planet of transformation will undoubtedly create meaningful, positive change for us all in the coming months. Old cycles are ending and new ones are beginning bringing us prosperity and love. Mercury and Venus are is brainy Gemini  to give us a boost in self expression, creativity and inventive thought. Jupiter moves temporarily from Aquarius the 13th in to Pisces so get ready to feel all the feels there is to feel and a lot of creative energy. Tuesday's new moon in Taurus wants us to get stable and grounded and manifest some stability.

2/1 - Venus enters Aquarius

So the cosmic news this week is that Venus is entering Aquarius which is GREAT because Mercury just went retrograde in Aquarius and I think this will add some much needed balance to the potential chaos of a Mercury retrograde. We as always can expect to be reviewing some themes, this time relating to justice and technology. I am hearing about this already! What, oh what, has happened since the energy shift in late December to Aquarius because some of that will come up again.

Those awesome Aquarius themes beam in the light of the Venus glow and her closeness to Jupiter will make life much more festive, loving, beautiful and prosperous. Also, we all know Valentine's Day is an Aquarius experience, and it's bound to be a super romantic one with a Mercury, Jupiter conjunction (more on that one later).

FOR YOU

Like Ri-ri say's "B*tch better have my money, give me what you owe me!" In other words, it's time for the cosmos to serve what you have earned; be that, money, love, rest, diamonds, or ramen. Whatever it is, you are bound to have it served up in this Mercury retrograde. Mercury is rifling through your immediate past and its set on winning justice. With Venus here adding love and bounty to the party along with Jupiter, I really think it won't be so bad, but watch out for big tech issues...servers down, long wait times, glitches beyond your control. If you are doing your taxes before Feb 20, check them several times before hitting the submit button. All and all, it sounds like a much better week than the last!
