After the heavy emotional introspection, examination, endings and new beginnings of Cancer season, I am ready to welcome the more carefree and fun energy that we can count on from Leo season. I am not be tone deaf to the fact that right now some of us are facing challenges that feel insurmountable but they are not - I promise this - we have the planets dragging out broken, rotten, and dead to replace it with energy, life and blessings. We can't live in a state of constant angst and our collective and personal problems will wait a hot second we must take a breath to heal, gain perspective and remind ourselves what we are trying to solve and what is worth the work it will take to repair. So in other words, let's all try to chill out on any level we can for any amount of time we can manage in the next 30 days.

The universe has been on this theme for a minute and we have for real needed it. With Venus being in the sign of common sense, reason and communication I can't help but think there are some internal things that still need your attention. You may find yourself having to confront some of the pain holding you back. Psst...hey...forgiveness isn't just for other people, its for YOU as well. I hope you take this good advice because without forgiveness (not forgetting) for yourself and others, there is no healing. Sorry loves, deep healing requires deep forgives and there is no way around that.

The week starts off with a new moon and a hard aspect. Hang in there because Monday and Tuesday might be a bit bumpy.

This means there will be some kind of tension likely between home and the responsibilities of either your physical home, or the home within yourself and your responsibilities to your work partnerships and commitments. Wherever this tension exists, the key is to create harmony. 💫 It doesn't have to be this or that no matter how the perspective looks at the moment. Stop sweeping things under the rug

❌ On Jul 21 Mercury, the planet of communication and intelligence squares Chiron, the wounded warrior in Aries. Squares are energy that create tension. This tension is usually there to help us grow but tbh its not always comfortable and it can be super dramatic if you work against it instead of working with it. Firstly, know that this might put folks on edge because its job is to shake things up and make things bubble to the surface so they can be dealt with. Then with this energy being between the communication planet and the wounded warrior, for most of you there is a conversation you need to have to produce some healing. 🗣 Here's the good news for those of you that will be touched by this energy. Mercury is still in empathetic and loving Cancer. As long as you tap into that energy, it shouldn't be too bad but remember, Cancer is also super sensitive so keep your feelings in check and your communication open.

Just because there aren't a lot if planetary movements this week, it doesn't mean that nothing is happening on the galactical front. In fact, things are still pretty busy astro-wise. Insead of moving all around the chess board, the heavenly bodies are talking to each other and setting the mood for events to come. And the summer still has a lot of events left to unfold. ✨This week, you can expect a little bit of creative force, simmering ire, longing for exploration one minute and comfort at home the next. Sounds like my Netflix list. 😉

Mercury stops, drops, shut em down, open up shop

🗣 Mercury our communication planet, stations direct today, Jul 12, and all the people in all the places rejoiced. Though I have to admit this was a pretty light one (thank you Cancer) I don't think anyone is mad at a direct Mercury. Don't worry if it still doesn't feel quite right, Mercury will be in retro-shade until Jul 26. With Venus direct and now Mercury, things may feel a little lighter and a wee bit less like you're trapped in a Cure album 💽heading into Leo season.

Saturn to the North Node...I don't know her...

🙅🏾‍♀️ Saturn is throwing a little shade 🌳to the North Node in Gemini on Jul 28. To be honest, quincunx energy is not the easiest for me to read but let's do our best, shall we. So Saturn right now is backtracking through Capricorn, which rules work, tradition and societal structures and its about to make a hard aspect to Gemini North node which is our thinking, communication, curiosity, etc. I could be wrong, but on a personal level, I don't think this is going to affect you directly. I think it will perhaps impact the collective and therefore you, indirectly. I think this energy is the stalemate in how we operate in times of Covid, do we send our kids to school or nah, do we support this or that, who or what do we believe when we are seeking information. So, it's nothing to fret about but as always I say, if someone is in a mood, don't antagonize, empathize. ✌🏽 ☮️

So many eclipses!

Our last eclipse of the summer just occured today, Jul 5, in Capricorn and it ends the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse season that has been happening since Jan 2018. The Gemini/Sagittarius season of eclipses will take their place with the next one occurring Nov 30 in Gemini. The point of this past eclipse season was to create balance between your home commitments and your work commitments and your partnerships in your personal life and your professional life. They were meant to expel what was no longer serving you in these places, regardless as to whether you wanted to hold on to them or not, then to heal and replace what it removed, with new life and vigor. Its hard to cry about what is gone if you're too busy looking forward to what's coming duckies - and what is coming will be amazing. 

Ceres is moving bass ackwards

Ceres begins its backwards movement in Pisces Jul 7. Ceres represents our ability to nurture and receive nurturing as well as our abilities for self discipline and creating boundaries with others. Its called the internal parent/child paradox. With this energy going retrograde in the spiritual sign of Pisces you can expect to start internally analysing these areas in your life. You might be asking questions like, "Where am I receiving care and support", "Where can I care for myself"? Who do I support and am I doing the most - like to my own detriment? Is there balance in my heart and mind? Quel existential! Only through introspection can you finally find the answers - Daniel son! 🙏

Chiron joins the electric slide in reverse (like if all the other planetary placement jumped off a bridge would you too Chiron...apparently so) 💁

Just when you thought there wasn't another doggone thing in our solar system that could reverse, Chiron, the wounded healer joins his friends in reverse motion Jul 11. This retrograde energy is focused on you and if healing your inner wounds in your jam (looking at you water signs 👀) then you are in luck! When our friend Ceres starts bringing up all those questions (see above) Chiron swoops in a la' the sign of Aquarius to help you heal. We have all been through a lot this year. This is a great energy to use for healing your self esteem and renewing your confidence and self image. Give yourself a soul makeover, burn some sage, balance some chakras, read a some articles or watch a few Ted talks.
