12/21 - Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Aquarius 12/29 - Full moon in Cancer This conjunction is pretty great! In case you are the one person in the world who hasn't heard, Jupiter forms a rad 0 degree conjunction with Saturn on Dec 21 (you will be able to view this for a week). Basically from purely a visual standpoint, its expected that the two planets will form what looks like a super bright and big star. This is the first grand conjunction this close in 800 years! What a privilege to live in a time to see such a cool astronomical event. But you didn't come here for the latest updates from Nasa, you're probably wondering what the heck it all means. Well at its most simplistic, a conjunction amplifies the energies of both planets in the terrain or sign that they are joined. In this case we have our good friend the teacher and pace setter kissing our other planetary buddy and ruler of luck, abundance and EXPANSION. We had a little preview of this energy from March to July this year when we had to shut down due to Covid and we had lots of shocking events (for some) come to the forefront. Now, I don't want you to focus on what happened during this period (especially since 2020 was so traumatic). Instead, let's focus on how we responded in that period. People all around the world found themselves connected by a similar state of being. Without all of the human consumption and traffic, the Earth started to heal in certain areas around the world like when the Venice rivers in Italy ran clear and some densely polluted air spaces started to improve. We adopted technologies (not necessarily new) but now suddenly imperative like Zoom, Facetime and suddenly everyone wanted to know how to TikTok. In this imposed timeout, people began to understand their own privileges and the oppression of others. Humanity began to care less about celebrity and more about teachers, grocery clerks, scientists, doctors and nurses. Connection with each other became a privilege and a responsibility. These are the vibes of Aquarius! Now Jupiter exands what we focus on so imagine that technology, care, love, environment, responsibility and sharing are all things we will need to focus on in a big way in 2021 and this is the beginning of that - the big bang in this new way of being! For you personally, the past 3 years should have helped you to understand how you fit into this picture. Your philosophies have been challenged, your eyes opened and your heart. You'll be fine, in fact you will be GREAT! We all will be because the truth is that 2021 is 100% what we make it. It's a fully full moon! We are blessed with a gorgeous full moon on Dec 29, days before we bid farewell to 2020 and hello to 2021. So do what full moons are good for and say goodbye to what was, wipe your shoes off on the matt and move on to a whole new world. So it all comes to down to this. There is a big energy shift this week and next. That said, it's positive but much like taking off in a plane; the ride will be smooth....just as soon as you recover from the take off. Drink water, meditate, eat well, rest and keep your seatbelt on until the pilot turns off the over head light.

A new moon - great...AND a total eclipse! Show off!

So tomorrow Dec 14 we will have a new moon and total  solar eclipse in Sagittarius. This eclipse sets the stage for new wishes and new dreams, especially since so many dreams were seemingly deferred due to Covid. Ask yourself, what do you want out of 2021? What relationships, dreams, career goals and family plans? Now it the time to set those intentions....dreams turn to fantasies, fantasies turn into intentions and intentions turn into reality. Next week the new beginning starts with a bang by way of a great conjunction, so now it the time to create a vision of your next normal.

Venus blows kisses in Sagittarius

Venus the planet of money, love and beauty moves into Sagittarius Dec 15. Your heart might long to set off on gossamer wings! The winter holiday season is arguably one of the MOST romantic times of year. You might find yourself feeling a renewed optimism about your love life that you haven't had for quite a while in the heavy atmosphere of 2020. You could also find yourself a little restless too, especially if you have been locked up with your Boo since COVID took hold - patience, patience. This is the season for bonuses and raises too. Increases might be surprisingly generous or you could get a bit of a windfall but I caution you not to overspend this holiday season, you might be paying of those balances longer than you'd like.

Chiron turns around

Chiron our wounded healer has turned direct in Aries Dec 15. Aries energy focuses on our identity and this retrograde may have forced you to examine yourself and the places you needed internal healing. Now we can focus that energy externally and use what we have learned to heal others.

Saturn moves over to Aquarius

We have been talking about this one almost all year and the time is here! As of Dec 17 Saturn moves to Aquarius where it will stay for the next ~3 years. We got a preview of this energy back in Mar 2020 - Jul 2020 when COVID came to stay and a lot of civil unrest all over the world began. Now I know that it sounds scary, but to keep it in context, 2020 has been pretty traumatic in parts. The takeaway is that like in those months, we don't have the luxury of not taking care of each other or standing up against outdated, humanity harming structures. The world gotten smaller through technologies and we were forced to take a look at our state of being and make a choice about who we wanted to be as people and as a society. Now we turn to rebuilding, creating new structures from the ground up and it won't always be easy but it will ALWAYS be necessary. We'll talk about this more but frankly I am so happy to be moving away from work oriented Capricorn. I love a Cappy but a sista is tired and Saturn moving on will ensure a nice rest this holiday season. Juno weds Sagittarius

Juno our lovely planetary bride ruler of marriage and soulmates asteroid moves along from Scorpio into freedom loving Sagittarius on Dec 18. Juno will give relationships a dose of creativity and will help you to examine the terms of your romantic relationship. Are traditional roles best for you or is it a different kind of partnership structure? You can write your own happily ever after and it doesn't have to look like Snow White's. Now is the time to examine if your flavor of boo'd up is working for you.

Jupiter shines some bling on Aquarius

Jupiter the planet of luck, abundance and expansion joins Saturn in Aquarius. What a great way to kick off an energetic shift than to bring on a little luck and abundance. I am simplifying of course. What you need to know for now is that this shift is going to speed things up quickly. You might find yourself reading more media, networking more and learning new technologies fast and furiously. You may also feel compelled to help your fellow man and involve yourself in new philosophies of life. You might want to travel or learn more about the world around you and a lot of folks will be seeking higher learning opportunities. Of course, its all free will, no one will make you, but if opportunity calls....maybe you should listen.

12/7 - Pallas enters Aquarius

The sign of Sagittarius by next week gets pushed into the spotlight when Pallas and Venus move in, joining Mercury already positioned there. When the planetary bodies team up in one sign, I think the universe is really pushing that sign's agenda. More on that later, but for now....there is another sign poised for an onslaught of planetary energy a bit more in the long term and the first of those heavenly influences arrives tomorrow...

Pallas sets up house in Aquarius

Aquarius is soon to be the host of Jupiter and Saturn (personally I can't wait for the energy shift from Capricorn to Aquarius) but Pallas is the lucky ducky setting up house first in Aquarius on Dec 7. Pallas, the keeper of wisdom, intelligence and justice pulls right on up to visionary, save humanity, futuristic forward facing Aquarius. It's no wonder that nations are planning an end to this Covid virus via vaccine. Well from a collective perspective we are entering an age of deep development after destroying out dated structures and in the near future those wronged will seek justice.

You personally are no exception, this movement is the beginning of rebuilding which begins with new thoughts and ideas on what your life, career and dreams will look like in the future. Things have changed and they won't go back so we get to go forward and explore/invent something new. This movement is the first of many tools you'll get in 2021.
